Janurary . 2005

So to end the year of 2004 with a bang I bought a game and installed it or tried to. Dam thing was 1.5 GB and kept giving me errors at every corber installing. I contact the tech support behind it and they said it could have been a slew of things ranging from a faulty hard drive to needing to defrag or scandisk my hard drive. I tried the last two options and found that maybe that was not the issue. So i purchased a new hard drive to see if that was the issue. After going to Worst Buy as they were close (and I needed it fast) , I attempted to install windows. Ok so windows does a half ass install and i get everything working as far as the basics to get windows to finction ok. I activate windows and attempt to install this game again. Same issues, same errors. Ok so it must be this new hard drive, it has to be but wait its brand spanking new.

So I go to reinstall windows and it wont take my dam key, thats weird but oh well im heading to bed. After taking the over priced hard drive back to Worst Buy and putting my other hard drive in I decided to check one last thing. I took out 1 little inocent looking ram stick. Same problems, same issues but wait, I had one last stick to try so I traded them out and BAM!! it worked.

Moral of the story is 1 stick of ram can make you wish you bought kingston ram :P
